What is Matcha from?
The method of ordering tea was a method used in tea fighting in the Song Dynasty.
Tea drinkers also used this method to drink the tea themselves.
At this time, the tea was no longer directly put into the cauldron to cook, but the tea cake was crushed first, and the water was boiled in the bowl.
When it was slightly boiling, the tea in the bowl was brewed. In order to blend the tea powder with the water, a tool made of thin bamboo was invented. The tea ordering called "Tea Xian" was the mainstream form of tea drinking in the Song Dynasty and one of the representatives of ancient Chinese tea art.

Was notified they had to have a kiln change so my order would take longer, but it still arrived pretty early! The colors are gorgeous and the size is perfect. Silicone lid dribbles a tiny bit but I knew that was a potential risk with a handmade product; usually if I turn it a bit I can get it to seal properly again, and I'm so delighted.

My tea cup is gorgeous. It’s exactly as described. The colors are so vibrant. It didn’t arrive on time, but that was not the fault of the seller. It got hung up in customs and customer service went above and beyond for me. I am ordering again because of that.
